Electronic & ICT: Computer Mouse Housing (Carcass)

ROSS Polymer designed and developed the structural housing for a computer mouse, balancing durability, ergonomics, aesthetics, and manufacturability.

The carcass was engineered to house internal electronics including the PCB, sensor, switches, and scroll mechanism, ensuring accurate alignment and protection. Ergonomic form, weight optimisation, and surface geometry were carefully developed to enhance user comfort.

The design was optimised for injection moulding, incorporating snap-fit and fastening features to support efficient assembly and high-volume production.
